Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The article has not been previously published, nor is it currently being submitted to another journal.
  • The article file should be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document format.
  • The article writing should be formatted according to the Writing Template provided.
  • The article complies with the style and bibliography requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in About the Journal.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts for publication in the Buletin Sumber Daya Geologi may consist of research articles, review articles, or feature articles on geology, both scientific and applied, particularly related to the main duties and functions of the Center for Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal Resources. The submitted manuscript must not have been previously published or concurrently submitted to another publication.

The manuscript should be written in either Indonesian or English, according to the grammar rules of the respective language used. The title should be written in capital letters at the top center of the page and in bold. The manuscript must always include an abstract in both Indonesian and English. Foreign words that cannot be translated or paraphrased should be presented in their original form and written in italics.

All sections of the manuscript, including the Abstract, title of tables and figures, table footnotes, figure captions, and references, should be typed with single spacing in an electronic file and printed on A4-sized HVS paper. The font should be Arial, size 11 point, with a maximum of 15 pages, including tables and figures. The reference list must contain at least 10 sources.
